"Satara Co-operative Group Limited is a leader in the New
Zealand kiwifruit industry. Satara's primary business objective is to
optimise the financial returns from growing kiwifruit for both its grower
shareholders and from its own orchards. It does this by providing a
variety of on-orchard and off-orchard services designed to ensure that
high quality kiwifruit is appropriately packed and made available to
consumer markets. Satara provides similar services in respect of avocados.
Satara has two classes of share - Investor Shares which are listed on the
NZAX, and Transactor Shares which can only be owned by grower suppliers to
